A l'heure ou les téléphones portables sont capables de servir d'appareils photos ou de caméra, le contraste des témoignages laissés par le passé est important. Voici un projet d'animation réalisé à partir d'anciennes photos. Elles montrent New York en 1931 et on peut avoir l'impression de revivre les scènes du passé car ces photos se sont transformées "comme par magie" en vidéo.

At a time when mobile phones are capable of serving cameras or camera, the contrast of the evidence left by the past is important. Here is an animation project made from old photos. They show New York in 1931 and one can have the impression of reliving the scenes of the past because these pictures have turned "magically" in a video.

C'est une animation peu banale que réalisent les 2 danseurs du group Bandaloop puisqu'il s'agit d'une chorégraphie vertical sur la mairie d'Oakland. Grace aux nouvelles technologies, vous pouvez voir 'in situ' les points de vue des danseurs. Incroyable !!!

Alors qu'aujourd'hui, il possible de faire du pop corn directement au micro-onde, ce n'était pas le cas avant.  Voici le canon à pop corn: il était principalement utilisé dans les pays asiatiques. C'est une cuisson sous pression, ce qui permet, non seulement de faire beaucoup de popcorn en une seule fois, mais de mieux controller sa cuisson.

Faisant suite au terrible tremblement de terre et au tsunami survenus en 2011 au Japon que l'artiste Manabu Ikeda a commencé son oeuvre intitulé "rebirth" (renaissance). Ce tableau immense (4 m X 3 m) est réalisé minutieusement à la plume et à l'encre. Il représente un arbre qui pousse au milieu des débris provoqués par l'énorme vague destructrice. Et une lecture plus approfondi du tableau rélève mille et un détails dont des individus, des plants, et animaux se débattant pour leur survie. Après un travail de plus de 3 ans et demi, on peut comprendre l'émotion que ressent l'artiste.

Following the terrible earthquake and tsunami in 2011 in Japan, artist Manabu Ikeda began his work entitled "Renaissance". This huge painting (4 m X 3 m) is done with pen and ink. It represents a tree that grows in the middle of the debris caused by the enormous destructive wave. And a deeper reading of the painting reveals a thousand and one details of which individuals, plants and animals struggling for survival. After working more than three and a half years, we can understand the emotion that feels the artist.

Le savoir faire manuel a été souvent dévalorisé alors qu'un geste bien maitriser peut créer les plus belle oeuvres. En voici l'exemple avec cette vidéo montrant un artisant créer un cheval à partir d'une boule de verre en fusion.
